Desayuno Con Amigos is a monthly networking event conducted solely in Spanish. It is held monthly at various restaurants of LCC members. The purpose of Desayuno Con Amigos is to gather owners of small Hispanic businesses, and educate them on such subjects as service, marketing, finances, and so forth. Desayuno Con Amigos provides an outstanding way for businesses to market directly to the Spanish-speaking community. The food, we might add, is always delicious.

As one of our cornerstone monthly activities, our monthly LCC luncheons are as enjoyable as they are informative. Our luncheons also provide one of Las Vegas’ best networking opportunities, as more than 250 diverse members and guests gather the third Friday of every month at various locations. Typically, our luncheons feature distinguished keynote speakers; LCC news and announcements; raffles; and, of course, good food and good fun.

Join the largest gathering of Hispanic business owners, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs from all industries throughout the U.S. Attend unique workshops, specialized business planning sessions, and valuable networking events that focus on building relationships and creating business opportunities.

Each year, the LCC hosts this highly anticipated gala dinner to honor LCC members who have made significant, positive contributions to the Hispanic community. Awards are bestowed in several categories, including Construction, Professional, Entrepreneur, Education, Public Service and Tourism, as well as Special Chamber Awards. The banquet culminates with presentation of our top honor, the Arturo Cambeiro Hispanic of the Year Award.

Held annually in November, Career Day is set up to match the career interests of Latino high school seniors with the needs of employer sponsors throughout the community. Career Day provides students the opportunity to explore various occupations directly, and to receive information about the education requirements of any career they are interested in.

Another component of Career Day is the distribution of scholarships to deserving students. These scholarships result from sponsor fees, corporate donations, and funds provided by University of Nevada, Las Vegas and University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada State College, and the Community College of Southern Nevada.

Our mixers provide an informal venue for our members to develop new business opportunities. Each mixer features great food and refreshments, as well as a casual and enjoyable atmosphere for networking. This year marks the fourth Holiday Mixer hosted by all three Asian, Latin, and Urban Chambers of Commerce.
