Telemundo Communications Group and Televisa Networks have signed agreements with numerous cable television providers to distribute Telemundo in Central America, Colombia, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and other countries throughout South America. In a historic pay TV alliance, market leaders Televisa and Telemundo will unite forces to create a synergy that will allow the prompt distribution of the channel, with an ongoing focus on the legal aspects and viability of the business. Televisa is proud to participate in this partnership, which will offer new options to millions of viewers, with the quality seal that distinguishes Telemundo's content. This partnership is yet another proof of Televisa Networks' efforts to maintain its leadership in entertainment throughout the different markets. In Colombia, subscribers of Cable Union, TV Cable Villanueva, HV Television, Codisert, and Sociedad Alfa TV Dorada, just to name a few, can already enjoy this channel. In Venezuela, Servicom, ACATEL and ASOTEL have been added to this distribution initiative; while in the Dominican Republic, companies like TV Cable of San Juan, Claro, Retevisa, Telecable Nacional, WIND, Cablevision del Caribe, Cable Max and Orbit Cable have celebrated agreements with Televisa Networks for the distribution of Telemundo; in addition to systems like Amnet, America Móvil and Cableonda in Central America. The channel will broadcast high quality original productions, including novelas, news magazines, variety and entertainment shows, among which are "Caso Cerrado" hosted by Dr. Ana Maria Polo, "Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste" presented by Maria Celeste Arrarás, and "Levántate" hosted by Alan Tacher and Rashel Díaz, among others. |
