NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs, the cornerstone training program of the Nevada Small Business Development Center, is in its 13th year in Nevada. Over 1000 entrepreneurs have been trained in the last five years.
Whether you are in the planning stages, or have been in operations for several years, NxLeveL will help your business grow. Past attendees include local doctors, construction contractors, plumbers, real estate agents, business consultants, and owners of restaurants, flower shops, breweries, health facilities, retail shops, beauty salons, and many more aspiring entrepreneurs.
Failure to plan is the number one reason that almost 80% of small businesses close their doors within the first 2 years of operations. NxLeveL demands planning on part of the business owner, and provides the tools to write a comprehensive business plan.
NxLeveL is a 13-week, 39 hour comprehensive course designed to give small business owners the hands-on, intensive learning environment they need to help their business survive. The program is an internationally renowned training curriculum. It is offered in 48 states and 9 countries. However, each NxLeveL program is taught by local instructors and adapted by region, so business owners will learn what they need to know about running a successful business in their area.
The NSBDC provides NxLeveL classes in Reno, Las Vegas and Laughlin. Las Vegas classes begin March 6th and will run for 13 consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, to be held at the Latin Chamber of Commerce at 300 North 13th Street, 89101. Each week NxLeveL attendees will have the opportunity to listen to and question an array of guest speakers (attorneys, bankers, CPAs, successful entrepreneurs, etc.) who will lend their expertise in special areas of business operations. Across the nation, NxLeveL is offered for a fee of up to $1,200 per person. In Nevada, our emphasis is in helping the business owner. The cost to attend this class in Las Vegas is $195 per person with a substantial discount for business partners. Fees include course materials and one-on-one counseling sessions with the instructor.
