Through the Leadership Nevada Conference Series.

Leadership Nevada is an innovative community leadership development program launched by the Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce (LCC) through its community foundation to train and inspire high-potential candidates to serve Southern Nevada’s diverse public and private sectors.

Positive leadership skill building that fosters employee loyalty, accountability, and productivity will enhance corporate value. Four dynamic sessions will deliver a rich, value-packed curriculum.

In addition to critical knowledge, participants will experience quality networking opportunities. Program participants will learn together, from established experts -with exercises that build invaluable long-term business and personal relationships.

1st Conference — September 16, 2011
2nd Conference — January 20, 2012
3rd Conference — April 20, 2012
4th Conference — June 15, 2012
Graduation — (Date TBD)

Leadership Nevada’s Mission is to accelerate the development of new business and community leaders who are knowledgeable, engaged, and have valuable connections to business, government, civic, and education entities that serve Southern Nevada. With more than one of four Southern Nevadans being of Hispanic/Latino descent, Leadership Nevada will be an important new component in the region’s continued economic, political, educational, social, and cultural development.

Key employees and other select candidates will obtain new tools for effective networking, communicating with customers, leveraging the strengths of teammates, and interacting within their communities. The conference series will focus on the development of four critical leadership traits: Personal Branding, Powerful Communication, Leadership Style and Leadership in Action

Session III

• Identify Personal Communication Strengths and Learn to Successfully Utilize the Strengths of Others
• Empower Others to Deliver Results
• Gain Cooperation at Every Level
• Employ Effective Communication Strategies at Every Level
• Make Social Media Work for You

Session IV

• Influence Others to Apply Their Business Skills in Leadership Positions
• Exit with the Tools Needed to Lead a Successful Public Service
• Utilize the Network of Colleagues from a Leadership Program to Improve Our Community through Collaborative Efforts

The cost of a Delegate Pass is $1,000 (breakfast and lunch included). This is limited to the first 100. The first 100 participants will enjoy the satisfaction of being the foundation for a rich educational program that will grow in prestige over the coming years.
