The White House Initiative on Education Excellence
Please join us for an important Community Conversation with Juan Sepúlveda Director of the White House Initiative for Excellence in Hispanic Education. Mr. Sepulveda is convening a Town Hall meeting in Las Vegas to solicit information on the most critical issues facing Latina/o students and communities. Join us at the Springs Preserve to honor children and celebrate childhood with our first-ever Día del Niño event. Celebrated worldwide at various times throughout the year, notably in countries such as Mexico, Día del Niño is all about the little ones. We'll be offering hours of fun for children of all ages, including clowns and magicians, dancing and singing groups, and interactive games, as well as traditional Mexican food and drink and hands-on arts and crafts workshops.
