
Daniel Andrew Johnson is a native of Arkansas. Daniel works at Caesars Entertainment were he performs the duties of a Gaming Analyst. In this position, Daniel assists Caesars Entertainment’s 32 properties in Gaming Analytics.
Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Bachelors of Science degree in Management Information Systems from UNLV.
Since 1996 Daniel has been actively involved in the community. He started his involvement at the Community college of Southern Nevada Cheyenne Campus were he tutored accounting and college algebra. He has also mentored High School students at night with other college leaders on campus. Their mission was to emphasis the importance of education and having a career to high school students.
Daniel also received a Math and Science Research Scholarship from Desert Research Institute and he was assigned to a Scientist at UNLV in the Biology Department.
In 1997 Daniel joined the Multicultural student affairs (MSA) team at UNLV. MSA is an umbrella organization that encompasses 21 student organizations. He received the Wilson Award for Community Service in 1997 from the African American Alliance. As member of MSA, he held the Position of Public Relations Chair and was elected President in 1999. Daniel joined the Student Organization of Latinos in 1998 at UNLV. The organization held leadership work shops at UNLV for High School Latino Students. The program was funded by community leaders of Southern Nevada. One community leader was Senor Vega who was instrumental in mentoring and funding of the programs.
