Arthur Cambeiro

Arthur M. Cambeiro, M.D. FACS is a native of Las Vegas and a graduate of Bishop Gorman Preparatory School. He attended the University of Southern California, where he graduated in the Psychobiology Honors Program. After graduating from college, he received his Medical Degree from the University of Colorado where he was honored with the Owens-Swan award for the most promising surgeon in his medical class. At the time of his medical training, the University of Colorado was ranked fourth in the nation for top clinical medical schools in the United States (US News and World Report). He then resided in Phoenix, Arizona where he was trained for five years in general and vascular/trauma surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. During his training, Dr. Cambeiro served as Chief Surgery Resident and scored 99th percentile in the nation on his American Board of Surgery in-service examinations. He then continued his education in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota His experience at the Mayo Clinic has been invaluable and he is extremely proud to have been a part of an organization whose hospitals are consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the nation (US News and World Report).

He is a double board certified surgeon through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He has consistently scored in the top 95th percentile in the nation on his certifying exams. Dr. Cambeiro has been recognized nationally and locally with multiple awards for his skills, compassion and aesthetic results. He has been named one of Americas top plastic surgeons (medical research council), one of Las Vegas’ Top Doctors in plastic surgery ( NPR and Las Vegas Life magazine), Top 40 under 40 (In Business), Senor of Distinction (Latin Chamber) and has been featured in Newsweek, Glamour and Allure magazines. He also serves on the Foundation Board of Directors, the Community Board of Directors and the ethics committee for all three St. Rose Hospitals. Has most recently been awarded an appointment for the second time to the National Advisory Council for Leaders in Breast Aesthetics, an elite group of fewer than 100 plastic surgeons who are at the forefront of aesthetic breast and facial surgery in the United States. He also volunteered his time in in Honduras medical clinics and correcting congenital facial defects on children in Vietnam.
