Juergen Barbusca is manager of communications for Cox Communications-Las Vegas. In his role with the company, the award-winning business communicator is responsible for media relations management, contributes to the organization’s community relations efforts and helps implement marketing-communications opportunities for Cox’s business and residential products/services.

Previously he was director of public relations for Las Vegas-based Girl Scouts of Frontier Council where he created and implemented public relations programs for the organization within a five-county wide area.

Barbusca is a state certified language translator and worked as a freelance and corporate translator for English-German in Munich, Germany during a 10-year stay in Europe. He supports several organizations including Class! Publications and the Frederick Douglass Educational Fund, and over the last four years has been increasingly involved in Chamber programs such as the La Oportunidad Business Conference and Expo and the Joint Chamber Luncheon; Barbusca is looking forward to achieving greater successes on behalf of the Latin Chamber.

He has degrees in German literature and public administration from UNLV.
