Elsa Ruth Uribe-Patterson is the owner of J&J Tours in Las Vegas. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved with her parents to Los Angeles, Calif. at an early age.

As a young woman, Uribe-Patterson took a summer job at a travel agency and the experience turned into a lifetime career in the tourism industry. After working for the Los Angeles agency for several years, she was transferred to Mexico City, Mexico. There, she held a number of positions including accounting, sales and operations manager and was later promoted to sales director.

A few years later, Uribe-Patterson decided to form her own business, Viajes Patterson. The company specialized in cultural tourism to Canada and Europe. Uribe-Patterson successfully managed her growing agency in Mexico before moving to Las Vegas in 1991. Here, she renamed her business as J&J Tours and focused in marketing to Hispanics.

Uribe-Patterson defines tourism as her passion. With entrepreneurial spirit and dedication, she has used her passion to build a business and career in that industry for more than three decades.
